Southeast US rainfall index for GRL paper "Low-frequency Southeast US Rainfall and Global Teleconnections"
The data include Southeast US rainfall index based on GPCC monthly precipitation and 30 CMIP5 model historical simulations (first realization). Each rainfall dataset, observed or model simulated, has been linearly detrended and applied with a 5-year low-pass filter. The Southeast US rainfall index is calculated as the area averaged values of 5-year low-pass filtered rainfall over land regions bounded by 25°-38°N and 266°-284°E. The unit here is mm/day.
