The male stridulatory protest sounds of Phyllophorina kotoshoensis Shiraki, 1930 from Taiwan were recorded using a digital bat detector Pettersson D1000X with a sampling rate of 192 kHz. Air temperature at recording: 20 oC. Distance between a microphone and the katydid: about 10 cm.
