The Updated ASM Specification of SASL Based on RFC 4422/2222

This specification is an ASM specification for SASL which consists of one main machine (Network), and eight modules (C, S, Protocol C, Mechanism C, Protocol S, Mechanism S, Abstract Layer, Message Box Signature. The Network is responsible of passing messages between client and server. Mechanism C includes signatures for functions and features of SASL mechanisms that are available for client's use. Mechanism S includes signatures for functions and features of SASL mechanisms that are available for server's use. Protocol C involves signatures for functions and specification of SASL protocols that are available for client's use. Protocol S involves signatures for functions and specification of SASL protocols that are available for server's use. Abstract Layer contains shared SASL signature between client and server. C includes rules performed by client agent. S includes rules performed by Server agent. This specification is based on RFC 4422/2222.
